A charming breakfast experience
We arrived to a warm welcome, and the ambiance was serene. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the freshly baked goods and friendly conversation with fellow guests over coffee. Each morning felt like a delightful gathering.
The only downside was the occasional noise from the street, especially at night when people returned from their outings. However, it didn’t detract much from our overall experience.

The location near the Uffizi Gallery and Duomo was outstanding. I enjoyed our cozy room with a great view of the Duomo from the top of the hotel. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring eggs, bacon, and pastries served at a communal table. Very enjoyable conversations with other guests complemented the delicious food. The owner, Umberto, was a delightful presence, sharing the hotel's rich history and making us feel welcome. One minor issue was the firmness of the bed. a thicker mattress pad would make it more comfortable. Overall, this place offers a blend of charm and convenience. I would return anytime, but a few upgrades would enhance the stay even more.

The place is right next to the main attractions, perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The cooking class was a cherry on top. we made traditional Tuscan dishes and enjoyed a wonderful meal together afterward. Also, breakfast was delicious with fresh pastries and plenty of drinks available.
However, a little hiccup with the hot water occurred during our stay, which was mended quickly, but it was mildly inconvenient.

This was just a fine choice for a stopover in Florence with very good value for money. The owner was attentive and even shifted our breakfast to a more convenient time. Be ready for some stairs if you're staying on higher floors.

Staying in such a beautifully preserved, ancient building felt genuinely authentic, with charming décor and a cozy atmosphere. The large communal breakfast experience fosters lively interactions while enjoying delicious pastries and fresh eggs each morning. However, the absence of air conditioning during warmer days and the firmness of the mattress impacted comfort. The occasional noise from the street outside was also a minor distraction at times.

Limited room features such as no fridge, unsafe handrail for steps, small bathtub without shower overhead!!! A lack of air conditioning in early spring is rather inconvenient!!! Unreliable hot water can ruin your mornings!!!
